Industrial Dust Collectors

Continuous-duty dust collectors for fine, clogging and combustible dust — high-airflow DF and AF units, mostly wheeled with fixed options, with automatic filter cleaning, from ordinary areas to ATEX-classified zones.

Capture dust at the source, keep airflow constant

Automatic filter cleaningM-class filtrationATEX options

An industrial dust collector is a high-airflow unit that pulls fine and clogging dust out of the air at the source of a process and holds it in a filter chamber — with automatic self-cleaning so airflow stays constant through a full shift. The Depureco DF and AF range runs from compact wheeled units to fixed installations (the DF FIX), with M-class filtration and ATEX-certified builds for combustible and conductive dust (aluminium, MDF, flour and similar).

Filter by ATEX zone or by what you're extracting, sort by power, or search by model. Not sure whether you need a wheeled unit or a fixed installation? Tell us the dust and the process and we'll specify it.

Need to pick material up off surfaces and floors by hose instead? See our industrial vacuums, or browse the full range.

Industrial Dust Collector Questions & Expert Answers

Ask a Question
01 What's the difference between a dust collector and an industrial vacuum?

An industrial vacuum works through a hose and wand — high suction to pick dust, debris, swarf or liquid up off surfaces, machines and floors on demand. A dust collector is a high-airflow unit that pulls fine, suspended dust out of the air at the source of a process and self-cleans its filter so it can run all shift. Both are usually on wheels — the difference is airflow-at-source versus suction-through-a-hose. If dust is generated continuously at a machine or line, you want a collector.

02 Do I need an ATEX dust collector?

If the dust is combustible or conductive (aluminium, MDF, flour, sugar, many plastics) and can form an explosive atmosphere, yes — you need an ATEX-certified unit rated for the correct zone. The DF DEX builds are certified for classified areas; filter by ATEX zone above, and we'll confirm the marking against your DSEAR assessment.

03 How does automatic filter cleaning work?

The unit pulses the filter cartridges clear while it runs — mechanically or with a jet of compressed air — so fine, clogging dust doesn't blind the filter and cut airflow. That keeps airflow constant on dusts that would quickly choke a simple manual-shake filter, which is why continuous processes use collectors rather than vacuums.
