Industrial Centralised Vacuum Systems

A single high-vacuum CVS suction unit, ducted to serve every point on a cell or line — continuous-duty, with Roots-blower and ATEX-certified options for classified zones.

An industrial centralised vacuum system is a single high-vacuum suction unit — not a portable machine — permanently ducted to multiple pick-up points across a cell, line or building, so operators plug a hose in wherever they're working instead of wheeling a vacuum around. The Depureco CVS range runs from the standard side-channel CVS up to the CVS ROOTS, which swaps in a Roots blower for higher airflow and vacuum on demanding, continuous-duty lines, with ATEX-certified 3D Z22 builds for combustible or conductive dust in classified areas.

Search by model below, or tell us the number of pick-up points, duct run and material and we'll size the unit and layout for you.

Centralised Vacuum Systems - Q&A Section

Industrial Centralised Vacuum System Questions & Expert Answers

Ask a Question
01 What is an industrial centralised vacuum system?

It's a single high-vacuum suction unit, usually sited centrally in a building or plant room, permanently ducted to inlet points across a cell, line or whole site. Instead of wheeling a machine to the work, operators connect a hose at the nearest inlet — one unit covers everywhere it's ducted to, run continuously rather than switched on and off per task.

02 Central system or mobile vacuum — which do I need?

If dust or debris is generated at several fixed points across a line or building and you'd otherwise need multiple portable machines, a central system covers them all from one suction source and cuts the equipment (and noise) on the shop floor. If the work moves — different machines, different areas, different days — a mobile industrial vacuum stays more practical. Tell us your layout and we'll advise.

03 Can a centralised vacuum system be ATEX-certified?

Yes — the CVS 3D Z22 and CVS ROOTS 3D Z22 builds are ATEX-certified for Zone 22 (combustible dust in classified areas), so a central system can serve classified zones the same way our mobile ATEX vacuums do. Confirm the zone and dust group against your DSEAR assessment and we'll specify the correct build.
