Depureco machines are built to international standards and, where required, ATEX-certified and independently assessed. This is what our certification actually covers — and how to match it to your site.
As the manufacturer, we design and certify the machines rather than resell someone else's. Every vacuum is built to the relevant international standards, and hazardous-area machines are ATEX-certified and assessed by a third party.
We can supply the certification that applies to the machine you are specifying — ask us for it before you order.
Depureco's ATEX range is built for combustible dust. Every ATEX machine is certified for a Zone 22 area — where a combustible dust cloud is unlikely in normal operation and only brief if it occurs — and the FOX and PUMA ranges also carry Zone 20 certification for the inside of the collection chamber, where dust is present continuously.
That is the full scope: combustible-dust Zones 20 and 22. Our machines are not gas-zone (0/1/2) equipment, and are not certified for dust Zone 21. Your DSEAR risk assessment sets your area's zone — tell us the classification and we will match a certified machine to it.
Separate from ATEX, dust filtration is graded by class under BS EN 60335-2-69. The class you need depends on how hazardous the dust is.
Where an area is classified as an ATEX zone, it needs a machine certified for that zone. Where combustible dust is present but the area is not ATEX-classified, our ACD range offers safer collection built to international standards — without full ATEX certification.

Across the ATEX range, every machine is certified for Zone 22, and the FOX and PUMA models add Zone 20 for the collection chamber. We confirm the exact marking for a specific model before you specify it.
Tell us your DSEAR zone classification and the material you are handling, and we will confirm the correctly certified machine and supply the certification that applies. Specifying certified equipment for a hazardous area is a safety decision — we would rather get it right with you than leave you to guess.
