The PUMA SP DEX 1/3D is an ATEX explosion-proof industrial vacuum built to recover combustible, metal and explosive dust in classified areas. It is third-party certified for dust Zone 22, while its internal chamber is certified to Zone 20 — so it stays compliant even when explosive dust is held inside the unit. Behind it sit CE and ATEX approvals and the full marking II 1/3D Ex htc IIIC T140°C Da/Dc.
Power comes from an ATEX-certified 3D side channel blower with a vacuum-limiter safety valve, engineered for continuous running without routine maintenance. An automatic SP filter cleaning system clears the cartridges without interrupting suction, so the machine holds its performance through long shifts. It is supplied in several configurations, with blower ratings of 7.5 kW, 11 kW, 15 kW and 18.5 kW to match your airflow and vacuum demand.
Filtration uses M-class antistatic polyester cartridges with integrated grounding that discharges static as the machine recovers dry, combustible dust. Because it is engineered for continuous, low-maintenance operation, the PUMA SP DEX 1/3D suits large, centralised suction systems that must stay online — and, as the manufacturer, we specify and support each unit around your process for a lower total cost of ownership across its working life.
The suction unit is a manufacturer-certified Atex side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The Side Channel Blower is equipped with a safety valve that ensures continuous work, without any maintenance.
Automatic filter cleaning system in reverse flow of air at 6 bar (compressed air not supplied as standard). Each filter is cleaned at regular, alternately adjustable intervals without interrupting suction. Ideal for fine and difficult dust.
Thanks to its 1D – Zone 20 certified chamber, the vacuum cleaner guarantees maximum safety and compliance when vacuuming combustible or conductive dusts (Group IIIC), even when these are contained within the unit.
The material is collected inside an AISI 304 stainless steel container, complete with a metal handle that allows its release, to avoid any sparks that could be generated by the electrostatic charge.
