The PUMA SP DEX 1/2D is an ATEX explosion-proof industrial vacuum built for the safe, continuous extraction of combustible and conductive dusts. It is ATEX certified for dust Zone 21 and Zone 22, with its internal collection chamber certified to Zone 20, carrying the marking II 1/2D Ex htc IIIC T140°C Da/Dc, so it stays safe even where an explosive dust atmosphere is present inside the machine itself.
At its core is an ATEX-certified side channel blower that delivers high, stable suction for large centralised systems. The automatic SP filter-cleaning system purges the antistatic polyester cartridges in sequence without stopping suction, so the unit runs continuously with minimal maintenance. M-class antistatic filtration and integrated grounding keep conductive metal dust under control throughout the process.
Because it is supplied in four motor configurations, 7.5 kW, 11 kW, 15 kW and 18.5 kW, the PUMA SP DEX 1/2D can be matched to the airflow and vacuum your centralised installation demands. The suction unit is a manufacturer-certified Atex side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The Side Channel Blower is equipped with a safety valve that ensures continuous work, without any maintenance.
Automatic filter cleaning system in reverse flow of air at 6 bar (compressed air not supplied as standard). Each filter is cleaned at regular, alternately adjustable intervals without interrupting suction. Ideal for fine and difficult dust.
Thanks to its 1D – Zone 20 certified chamber, the vacuum cleaner guarantees maximum safety and compliance when vacuuming combustible or conductive dusts (Group IIIC), even when these are contained within the unit.
The material is collected inside an AISI 304 stainless steel container, complete with a metal handle that allows its release, to avoid any sparks that could be generated by the electrostatic charge.
