The PUMA HD ACD is a high-performance industrial vacuum engineered for one demanding job: extracting combustible dust in ordinary, non-ATEX-classified areas. Its ACD classification means it is purpose-built for combustible dusts, holding up where the large volumes of powders, solids and shavings found in heavy industry would defeat a general-purpose machine. It is CE marked and runs from a standard electrical supply.
At its heart is a side channel blower, available in 21.3 kW and 25.3 kW configurations, delivering the sustained power that continuous running demands rather than short, stop-start bursts. Multiple construction options let the machine be matched to the material and duty in front of it, while a vacuum-limiter safety valve protects the blower when airflow is restricted.
Filtration runs through an M-class primary filter in a star configuration, using antistatic polyester media, and an electric filter-shaker keeps it clear by dislodging caked dust without interrupting the job. The suction unit is a side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The turbine is equipped with a safety valve to ensure continuous, maintenance-free work. A metal silencer is included as standard in the turbine to ensure a low noise level.
The tangential inlet facilitates the cyclonic effect to deposit the collected material in the container. Filtration is ensured by a polyester star filter in class M (filtering efficiency 1 micron) with high filtering surface area, which guarantees air passage even with a dirty filter.

The material is collected inside a coated bin complete with a handle that allows it to be released. Thanks to the 4 sturdy pivoting wheels, the bin can be moved with ease and the collected material can then be disposed of.
