Supplied by Depureco UK as the manufacturer, the PUMA ACD is a high-power industrial vacuum classified ACD — an Appliance for Combustible Dust — for the safe suction of fine, potentially combustible dust in ordinary, non-ATEX-classified areas. It is Italian-engineered for sites that handle combustible fine dust but do not need a full ATEX zone-rated machine.
At its core is a side channel blower, offered across five power configurations from 7.5 kW to 18.5 kW, so the machine can be sized to the recovery rate and duty your process actually needs. Filtration is handled by a class M primary filter in antistatic polyester, chosen for the efficiency combustible fine dust demands, with manual filter cleaning to keep airflow steady across a full shift.
Rated for heavy-duty and continuous applications, the PUMA ACD is available with multiple construction options and can be integrated into a centralised vacuum system where fixed extraction points suit the layout better than a standalone machine. The suction unit is a side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The turbine is equipped with a safety valve to ensure continuous, maintenance-free work. A metal silencer is included as standard in the turbine to ensure a low noise level.
The tangential inlet facilitates the cyclonic effect to deposit the collected material in the container. Filtration is ensured by a polyester star filter in class M (filtering efficiency 1 micron) with high filtering surface area, which guarantees air passage even with a dirty filter.
