The FOX SP DEX 1/3D is an ATEX explosion-proof industrial vacuum engineered to extract combustible and metal dust in total safety. Independent third-party certification confirms its internal collection chamber as Zone 20, while the machine is rated for use in Zone 22 dust-classified areas — carrying the ATEX marking II 1/3D Ex htc IIIC T140°C Da/Dc.
At its core is an ATEX-certified side channel blower, designed for continuous operation without routine maintenance. It is offered in a range of motor ratings — 2.2 kW, 4 kW, 5.5 kW and 7.5 kW — so the vacuum can be matched precisely to the extraction duty rather than over- or under-specified. Depureco has engineered industrial vacuums since 1972, and that blower is built for a service life measured in years, not seasons — the foundation of a lower total cost of ownership.
Filtration is high-efficiency and fully antistatic: the primary filter is class M, using antistatic polyester media across three cartridges, and an integrated automatic cleaning system keeps them clear without pausing the process. Suction and efficiency hold steady through long, continuous shifts, and a vacuum-limiting safety valve protects the blower throughout.
The suction unit is a manufacturer-certified Atex side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The Side Channel Blower is equipped with a safety valve that ensures continuous work, without any maintenance.
Automatic filter cleaning system in reverse flow of air at 6 bar (compressed air not supplied as standard). Each filter is cleaned at regular, adjustable intervals alternately without interrupting suction. Ideal for fine and difficult dust.
Thanks to its 1D – Zone 20 certified chamber, the vacuum cleaner guarantees maximum safety and compliance when vacuuming combustible or conductive dusts (Group IIIC), even when these are contained within the unit.
The material is collected inside an AISI 304 stainless steel container, complete with a metal handle that allows its release, to avoid any sparks that could be generated by the electrostatic charge.
