ECOBULL DEX 1/2D

The ECOBULL DEX 1/2D is a heavy-duty ATEX industrial vacuum from Depureco, the Italian manufacturer of industrial vacuum systems, built to recover combustible, conductive and fine dust safely in classified explosive-atmosphere areas. It is certified for intensive, continuous work in dust Zone 21 or Zone 22, and its internal chamber carries Category 1D certification rated to Zone 20 — so combustible and conductive dust, including type IIIC, stays safely contained even inside the machine. The full ATEX marking is II 1/2D Ex h IIIC T160 Da/Db.

At its heart is a powerful ATEX-certified Category 2D side channel blower, matched to continuous, heavy-duty running rather than short cleaning bursts. The vacuum is offered in three configurations — with motors rated at 1.8 kW, 3 kW and 4 kW — so suction can be matched to the demands of the process and the site. Beyond dry combustible dust it also collects powders, solids and shavings as well as wet powders or solids, letting a single certified machine cover a range of materials across the plant.

Filtration is handled by a high-efficiency primary filter in Class M — a star filter in antistatic polyester with a large 24,000 square-centimetre filtering surface — so air keeps passing freely even as the filter loads, and a manual cleaning system keeps it working at efficiency between services. The whole unit is completely grounded for the safe handling of conductive dust, and a vacuum-limiter safety valve is fitted for continuous running.
