The Depureco XM 20 JC is a compact industrial vacuum cleaner built to collect fine dust in medium quantities. Fine, dry and clogging powders are exactly the materials it is made for — the kind that quickly blind an ordinary filter — and it handles them from a machine small enough to move to where the work is. Like every Depureco vacuum, it is Italian-engineered by a manufacturer that has built industrial vacuums since 1972.
At its core is a 2.6 kW by-pass motor and a high-efficiency M-class filter: a polyester cartridge with a large filtration area for strong, sustained pick-up. The Jet Clean filter-cleaning system that gives the JC its name clears trapped dust from the cartridge, so suction holds up through a shift instead of tailing off as fine powder loads the media.
The body is sturdy painted steel, built to keep earning its place over years of hard use, and a 20 litre container keeps the footprint compact and handy on a busy floor. The XM 20 JC is CE-marked for ordinary, non-classified areas; it is not ATEX zone-certified, so for a potentially explosive atmosphere you should choose a Depureco vacuum built and certified for hazardous-area duty instead. It is offered in multiple construction options, so it can be matched to the dust and the site rather than forcing a compromise.
Suction is provided by 2 by-pass motors controlled by independent switches, allowing the operator to control suction performance. The motors are located inside a robust enclosure, with an insulating sponge to maintain a low noise level.
Filtration is ensured by a Class M polyester cartridge filter (filtration efficiency 1 micron) with a high filtering surface area, which guarantees air passage even with a dirty filter.
Equipped with JetClean® filter cleaning system. Due to the different pressure between the outside and inside of the vacuum cleaner, the system generates a flow of air through the cartridge that detaches dust from the surface of the filter, keeping the filter efficient while working and without stopping suction.
The material is collected inside a coated bin complete with a handle that allows its release. Thanks to the 4 sturdy pivoting wheels, the container can be moved with ease, and the collected material can then be disposed of.
