The Depureco SWAN is built for one demanding job: extracting fine dust where hygiene is non-negotiable. In food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing and any process held to GMP standards, the vacuum itself can become the weak point — so the SWAN is engineered for maximum GMP compliance, with smooth, easy-to-maintain surfaces that leave nowhere for product or dust to collect and can be wiped down quickly between batches.
Behind that hygienic construction sits very high multistage filtration performance, with progressive multistage filtration available for the finest and most demanding dusts, including toxic or hazardous ones. Primary filtration uses an M-class star filter in polyester media, cleaned manually, while a side-channel blower drives the suction. The SWAN is offered in three motor configurations — 0.85 kW, 1.5 kW and 2.2 kW — so you can match the unit to the dust load and the layout of the area you are cleaning.
Every SWAN is CE-marked and protected by a vacuum-limiter safety valve, and its compact, easy-to-maintain build keeps day-to-day running simple and the total cost of ownership down. It is designed for ordinary, non-ATEX areas rather than classified explosive atmospheres — Italian-engineered by Depureco, a manufacturer specifying industrial vacuum systems since 1972.
The suction unit is a side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The turbine is equipped with a safety valve to ensure continuous, maintenance-free operation. A metal silencer is included as standard in the turbine to ensure a low noise level.
The tangential inlet facilitates the cyclonic effect to deposit the collected material in the container. Filtration is ensured by a polyester star filter in class M (filtering efficiency 1 micron) with high filtering surface area, which guarantees air passage even with a dirty filter.
An ergonomic manual filter shaker allows the filter to be cleaned easily and quickly, removing dust and debris from the filter surface.
The material is collected inside a large coated steel release container.
