The Depureco PUMA is a three-phase, medium-to-high-power industrial vacuum built for continuous, heavy-duty work — the kind of duty cycle that wears out a lighter machine. Suction is driven by a robust side channel blower, and the PUMA holds its performance even when it runs without pause, which is exactly what centralised extraction and busy production lines demand. It is Italian-engineered by Depureco, a manufacturer that has built industrial vacuums since 1972.
The PUMA takes on both dry and wet material. It vacuums dust, solids and liquids — powders, solids and shavings, as well as wet powders and solids — so a single unit covers work that many sites would otherwise split between separate machines. Primary filtration is built around an M-class star filter in polyester media, cleaned by a manual filter-cleaning system, while a vacuum-limiter safety valve protects the motor. Every PUMA is CE-marked.
Rather than a single fixed build, the PUMA is offered in five motor configurations — 7.5 kW, 11 kW, 12.5 kW, 15 kW and 18.5 kW — with multiple construction options, so the machine is matched to the extraction duty instead of over- or under-specified. It can work as a standalone industrial vacuum or be integrated into a centralised suction system serving several pick-up points. The PUMA is CE-marked for ordinary, non-classified industrial areas; it is not ATEX zone-certified, so where a potentially explosive atmosphere may be present you should choose a Depureco vacuum built and certified for hazardous-area duty instead.
