The XM Torch is a purpose-built welding-fume extractor that pulls smoke away from the arc at the point it is created — directly from the MIG/MAG torch. It is powered by the current flowing through the welding machine's earth cable, so extraction and filtration run in total safety, and the unit can be remotely controlled straight from the welding machine. Compact and easy to handle, it moves with the operator around the workshop.

Filtration is handled by a Class M cartridge in PTFE-coated polyester, backed by multi-stage filtration engineered for maximum operator safety. The integrated JetClean cleaning system keeps that cartridge working without interrupting suction, so airflow stays consistent through the shift and filter servicing is kept to a minimum. The extractor is offered in two configurations — a 1.3 kW and a 2.6 kW build — so suction can be matched to the welding station.

Built around a sturdy painted-steel body, the XM Torch is made to earn its keep in a busy fabrication shop, where a self-cleaning filter and rugged construction hold down the long-term cost of ownership. It carries CE marking and is designed for ordinary, non-ATEX industrial areas — not explosive-atmosphere zones.

Suction is provided by 1/2 by-pass motors controlled by independent switches, allowing the operator to control suction performance. The motors are located inside a robust enclosure, with an insulating sponge to maintain a low noise level.

FILTER UNIT

FILTER UNIT

Filtration is ensured by a Class M polyester cartridge filter (filtration efficiency 1 micron) with a high filtering surface area, which guarantees air passage even with a dirty filter.

JET CLEAN FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM

JET CLEAN FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM

Equipped with JetClean® filter cleaning system. Due to the different pressure between the outside and inside of the vacuum cleaner, the system generates a flow of air through the cartridge that detaches dust from the surface of the filter, keeping the filter efficient while working and without stopping suction.

Passing the electric cable of the welding machine through the clip, the vacuum unit automatically begins suction when the operator starts welding and ends a few seconds after the welding machine is turned off.
