ATEX INDUSTRIAL VACUUM - PUMA 25 Z20/Z22

Introducing the Puma 25 ATEX Z20/Z22, an industrial vacuum cleaner designed for heavy-duty applications in harsh environments. Certified by a third-party (TUV) to meet Z20 standards, this extractor is built to withstand rigorous conditions and handle heavy materials with ease.

Equipped with a dual-stage side channel blower, mounted in parallel or series for high airflow and depression, the Puma 25 ensures efficient extraction of materials. The safety vacuum breaker valve comes as standard, enhancing safety during operation.

Featuring a tangential inlet and a robust cyclone welded inside the filtration chamber, this vacuum delivers outstanding efficiency even with the finest powders. The tangential entry of material into the cyclone causes it to lose speed and fall directly into the container, effectively protecting the filter from clogging.

The polyester filter, certified to M class standards with a filtration efficiency of 1 micron, can be customized to suit specific applications. A manual filter cleaning system, accessible via a practical lever on the vacuum's upper part, allows for easy and effective maintenance. Alternatively, an automatic counter-current filter cleaning system can be configured upon request.

The vacuum includes a practical and sturdy 175-liter container equipped with a release system for effortless material collection and disposal. Four pivoting wheels, mounted on reinforced supports, facilitate handling even when the container is laden with several kilograms of material. Additionally, a forklift handling and unloading kit is available upon request, further enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Features

Suction Unit

Filtering Unit

The suction unit is an ATEX certified side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. Furthermore, to guarantee safe work, the unit is equipped with a safety valve which, in the event of obstruction in the vacuuming elements, prevents overheating.

The filtration is guaranteed by an M class polyester filter. The star shape enables air to flow through the filter even when it is dirty. The fabric of the filter is classified as M Class (BIA | EN 60335-2-69). This means that all particles till 1 micron are stopped by the filter so as to protect the blower and the operator around the vacuum cleaner.

Suction Inlet

Collection Bin

The tangential inlet is designed to ease the process of pushing the material down the bin. A sturdy metal cyclone welded inside the chamber slows the material's entry speed considerably down so that it falls directly inside the bin. This way, the filter is efficiently protected, minimizing clogging risk.

Collection Bin Atex 2 wheels.png

The vacuumed material is collected in an AISI 304 stainless steel container, equipped with a metal handle that enables the bin to be detached from the machine, to avoid any spark that could be generated by the electrostatic charge. Thanks to the 4 sturdy pivoting wheels, the bin can be moved very easily to then dispose of the collected material. Each wheel is reinforced to guarantee maximum stability during handling.
