The FOX 3 ATEX Z20/Z22 stands as a robust and dependable industrial vacuum cleaner designed for operation in ATEX Z22 classified environments. It boasts an ATEX-certified side channel blower, ensuring seamless operation without the need for frequent maintenance.

This vacuum cleaner holds a third-party certification (TUV) for its internal area, certifying it as Z20 compliant. Within the vacuum, an ample antistatic polyester filter (24,000 cm2), certified to class M standards with a filtration efficiency of 1 micron, adeptly captures electrostatically charged dust particles.

To safeguard the filter from clogging, a durable metal cyclone is welded inside the filter chamber. For applications requiring the capture of finer dust particles, an optional absolute H14 filter can be installed upon request.

Facilitating easy material collection and disposal, the vacuum features a spacious 100-liter container crafted from AISI 304 stainless steel, complete with wheels for effortless manoeuvrability.

Key Features

Suction Unit

Filtering Unit

Atex Suction Unit.png

The suction unit is an ATEX certified side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. Furthermore, to guarantee safe work, the unit is equipped with a safety valve which, in the event of obstruction in the vacuuming elements, prevents overheating.

The filtration is guaranteed by an M class polyester filter. The star shape enables air to flow through the filter even when it is dirty. The fabric of the filter is classified as M Class (BIA | EN 60335-2-69). This means that all particles till 1 micron are stopped by the filter so as to protect the blower and the operator around the vacuum cleaner.

Suction Inlet

Collection Bin

The tangential inlet is designed to ease the process of pushing the material down the bin. A sturdy metal cyclone welded inside the chamber slows the material's entry speed considerably down so that it falls directly inside the bin. This way, the filter is efficiently protected, minimizing clogging risk.

The vacuumed material is collected in an AISI 304 stainless steel container, equipped with a metal handle that enables the bin to be detached from the machine, to avoid any spark that could be generated by the electrostatic charge. Thanks to the 4 sturdy pivoting wheels, the bin can be moved very easily to then dispose of the collected material. Each wheel is reinforced to guarantee maximum stability during handling.
